Terms & ConditionsNeed to return or exchange something you've just received? No problem! Please read through our policies below, and of course contact us if you have any questions. While we do everything in our power to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase, please keep in mind that Update Apparel is a growing company and may not have the same return policies that you'll find at big box stores.About Cancellations: Please note that your order begins processing the moment you place an order. This means that your items are created and shipped without delay. We are unable to cancel orders or items after you have received your shipping notification. These orders should be returned or exchanged according to our policies below.

delivery

Your order should be delivered within 7-10 business days following order confirmation. Please allow up to 2 additional days for rural zip codes.Shipping is available within the US and we deliver to P.O. boxes. We also ship to US Territories, Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO/DPO addresses, which requires additional time for delivery and may be subject to delivery restrictions based on the item type, weight and size.

taxes

Update Apparel does not set the tax pricing for purchases. Taxes are based on 6% Virginia State Retail Tax on purchases. This rate is subject to change by Law.

transportation and risk of loss

Shipping is processed at a flat fee of $5.00 if shipping within the Continental United States. International shipping will be calculated by your physical address, and your order's weight & dimensions.There are no handling fees for your shipment. *These prices are subject to change at any time and by the discretion of Update Apparel.

Unfortunately, when you are moving packages across the country there is always the risk of orders becoming lost in transit. Update Apparel will work with USPS in cases of loss so that your purchase will be fulfilled expeditiously.

return of material

RETURNS

Items described as "Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged.

Please note: Items purchased at UpdateApparel.com must be returned or exchanged via our website and online Customer Service representatives. Online purchases may not be returned or exchanged at any brick and mortar store.

  • Customer Service can be reached via email at ‘Support@updateapparel.com’ You will receive a phone call or email reply from our support staff within 48 to 72 hours between the hours of 8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday EST.
  • Swimwear is returnable, however, it must include the original liner and show no signs of wear. Please be certain to try on all swimwear with undergarments and keep the liner in place.
    * Shipping cost is non-refundable, unless we ship an item in error.
  •  If your item arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 3 business days (M-F) of receiving the item and we will gladly replace it. Please note that you will have 7 days from the date your package is delivered to qualify for a refund; 8-15 days for store credit; and after 15 days you will be contacted to purchase a ship charge so the merchandise can be returned to us, or destroyed at your expense.
  •  A Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued before any returns will be accepted. The RA number will be issued to you after you contact us via the Update Apparel Support Site. Please do not return any item without a RA number. 
  •  Your RA number must be written on the outside of the box or your package will be returned back to you.
  • Refunds will be refunded to the original payment method. If there is a split between store credit and credit card, then store credit will be refunded first, then the credit card. We understand the importance of processing these returns and are doing our best to handle as quickly as possible. Refunds/store credits typically take 7-10 days from the date we receive your return.
  •  Returns on orders that utilize free shipping will be subject to a reduction in refund or store credit in the amount of $8.25 ground or $27 Standard Overnight.

EXCHANGES

Items described as "Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged.

Any Exchange requests must be submitted to Customer Service directly. Please contact us to request an exchange.

    • If your item arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 3 business days (M-F) of receiving the item and we will gladly replace it. Please note that you will have 7 days from the date your package is delivered to qualify for an exchange or refund. 8-15 days for store credit, and after 15 days you will be contacted to purchase a shipping charge so the merchandise can be returned to you or destroyed at your expense. Please note we will only hold merchandise for 5 days prior to destroying.

    •Exchanges are allowed for size only. Simply include the size you require when you contact customer service asking to authorize an exchange. If you would like the same style in another color, please return your original purchase and place a new order for the other color.

    • Exchanges are available exclusively for orders that ship to the contiguous USA

    • We offer only one exchange per order.

    • If your requested size is out of stock when we receive your package you will be issued a refund or store credit based on our posted return policy.

    • You must include a copy of your receipt along with a request for refund, exchange, or store credit

    • Please ship with tracking, we are not responsible for packages lost by shipping carriers

    • All items must be in their original packaging and in sellable condition

    • Any worn, soiled, altered, or customer damaged items will be shipped back to you at your cost and no refund issued. After two weeks if you cannot be reached with your provided contact information your ineligible item will be destroyed

    • Shipping cost is non-refundable unless we ship an item in error.

    • Exchanges will require the customer to pay for return shipping. We will pay for the shipping cost to get the new item to the customer.

PAYMENTS

    All of our purchase orders are processed through Paypal. We accept all forms of major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, etc...).

    At your time of completing a purchase order you will be forwarded to our Paypal merchant checkout page. You may use your Paypal account, but this is optional. You will not be required to signup for Paypal to complete your purchase, simply put in your pertinent credit card information as a guest.
