Return & Exchange Policy

Need to return or exchange something you've just received? No problem! Please read through our policies below, and contact us if you have any questions. While we do everything in our power to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase, please keep in mind that Update Apparel is a growing company and may not have the same return policies that you'll find at big box stores.

About Cancellations: Please note that your order begins processing the moment you place an order. This means that your items are created and shipped without delay. We are unable to cancel orders or items after you have received your processing or shipping notification. These orders should be returned or exchanged according to our policies below.


RETURNS:

  • Customer Service can be reached via email at Support@updateapparel.com You will receive an email reply from our support staff within 48 to 72 hours.
  • A Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued before any returns will be accepted. The RA number will be issued to you after you contact us via the Update Apparel Return Page or via email. Please do not return any item without an RA number.
  • Returns must be: In original packaging or similar, unworn condition, free of make-up stains, free of odor
  • Return within 7 days from the date your package is delivered to qualify for a refund and 8-15 days for store credit.
  • Shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • Returns on orders that utilize free shipping will be subject to a reduction in refund or store credit in the amount of $8.25 ground or $27 Standard Overnight.

Non-returnable items include (refunds / exchanges / store credit not accepted): Bandage dresses, sale items, and undergarments including swimwear and bodysuits.


EXCHANGES:

  • Submit exchange request via email at Support@updateapparel.com
  • Exchanges are allowed for size only. Simply include the size you require when you contact customer service asking to authorize an exchange.
  • Exchange items must be: In original packaging or similar, unworn condition, free of make-up stains, free of odor.
  • We offer only one exchange per order.
  • If your requested size is out of stock when we receive your package you will be issued a refund or store credit based on our return policy.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping cost including the return and shipping of new item(s). 

  • All exchanges must be conducted within 7 days from the date you received your package. 

**Any worn, soiled, altered, or customer damaged item(s) will be shipped back to you at your own expense and no refund/exchange will be issued. After two weeks, if you cannot be reached with your provided contact information, your ineligible item will be destroyed. 

Refunds/Exchanges typically take 7-10 days from the date we receive your item(s).
